Ovarian Endometriosis and Infertility: Effectiveness of In Vitro Fertilization Programs
Abstract
Endometriosis is currently a fairly common disease. In our article, we have studied the connection between endometriosis and infertility. We have made comparisons in vitro fertilization among women with endometriosis and women with tubal factor infertility. Homogeneous groups of patients in both the main and the control groups were carefully selected. Our main results were: the duration of stimulation, the number of drugs used, the number of oocytes extracted, the percentage of fertilization, and the clinical frequency of pregnancy.
Keywords: endometriosis, infertility, in vitro fertilization
