Abstract

President Jokowi issued Government Regulation (PP) 83/2019 concerning Provision of Competent Technical Personnel in the Service Trade Sector. The Minister of Manpower of the Republic of Indonesia as a technical advisory agency in the field of HR Management published that Indonesia currently has a workforce that varies in terms of expertise and level of professionalism. The variety of professionalism requires a clear guideline in order to create a global standard of competence. Standardization of these competencies must be demonstrated with evidence of recognition shown through a certificate of competence. Diploma Supplementary Certificate (SKPI) or Diploma Supplement is an official statement issued by a university, containing information about the academic achievement or qualifications of a graduate with a higher education degree. The study aims to proof and analyze the influences of competence and role conflict on burnout and job satisfaction of assessor of P1 Professional Certification Institutions (LSP P1) higher education institutions in Surabaya. The population in this study was assessors of LSP P1 higher education institutions in Surabaya. Samples were taken as many as 292 assessors. The data analysis technique used is the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) version 26.0. The results proved that competence has positive and significant influences on burnout and on job satisfaction; role conflict has positive and significant influences on burnout and on job satisfaction; and burnout has positive and significant influence on job satisfaction.
