Abstract

According to the development characteristics of China’s tourism “integration of culture and tourism”, this paper systematically analyzes the research of the integration of Guangxi ethnic culture into tourism and the tourism phenomenon of Guangxi’s unique festival “March 3rd”. It proposes the practical strategies to integrate ethnic cultures into innovative teaching for applied English majors, namely, mentoring with professional and innovative ability, teaching materials with authentic ethnic cultures, and teaching methods catering to Z-generation, aiming to improve the quality of talent training of English majors and serve the development of Guangxi's tourism in a better way.
