Analysis of Work-Life Balance in Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises at Cipulir Market Shopping Tourism, South Jakarta, Indonesia

This research aims to analyze the level of work-life balance in MSMEs operating in the Cipulir Market Shopping Tourism, South Jakarta, Indonesia. This research uses a qualitative approach to explore the perceptions and experiences of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the Cipulir Market regarding work-life balance. Participants were MSMEs in Pasar Cipulir, selected purposively by considering variations in business size and demographic background. Data was collected through in-depth interviews and observations and then analyzed using a qualitative approach, including thematic coding. Findings show that MSME actors develop time management strategies, utilize social support, prioritize stress management, demonstrate poverty and adaptability, and utilize technology. Suggestions for this research are to continue creating more effective time management strategies, strengthening social support, providing resources for stress management, developing work-origin policies, and providing technology training to MSMEs. By implementing these suggestions, MSME players in the Cipulir Market can continue to build and compete effectively.
