Evaluating the Effect of Extracurricular Basketball Training on the Physical Development of Pupils in Some Primary Schools in the North Huong River, Hue City

Using conventional scientific research methods in physical education and sports, this article has studied to evaluate the effectiveness of extracurricular basketball training on the physical development of grade 4 pupils in some primary schools in the North of the Huong River, Hue City. The research results confirmed the effectiveness of extracurricular basketball training on the physical development of pupils. Specifically, after 12 weeks of experimentation, the physical fitness test results of the pupils participating in extracurricular basketball training were better than the control group with a statistical probability of significance P < 0.05%.
