The inclusion of people with disabilities is a process that aims to guarantee equality of opportunities and full access to rights and services for all people, regardless of their physical, sensory, intellectual or emotional limitations. It is a fundamental principle based on human rights and the appreciation of diversity. In the labour market, the inclusion of people with disabilities implies providing opportunities for work, as well as creating accessible, adaptable and discrimination-free work environments. That requires valuing the skills and competences of people with disabilities, with the aim of providing reasonable support and adjustments, where necessary, to enable them to perform their duties effectively. By promoting inclusion, we end up building a more just, egalitarian and respectful society for all, in which all people can be valued for their unique abilities and contributions; it is still an essential step towards building a more inclusive world, where everyone can participate fully and enjoy a dignified and meaningful life. The inclusion of people with disabilities and diversity in the labour market is a relevant topic, increasingly discussed over the years and which has increasingly aroused the interest of companies. This study aims to reflect and understand the role of human resources management in the process of diversity and inclusion of people with disabilities in the job market. Through the literature review, the empirical object of this work is explained, that is, people with disabilities and the story about the definition of this term, the concept of a person with disability and types of disability.
