The effects of chemical reaction on an unsteady MHD free convection flow past a semi-infinite vertical permeable moving plate embedded in a porous medium with viscous dissipation and thermal radiation are studied in this article. The governing equations involved in the present analysis are solved by the perturbation method for the velocity, temperature and concentration field. The numerical values of the skin friction and Sherwood number have been tabulated. The effects of various parameters associated with flow like thermal Grashof number, mass Grashof number, Schmidt number, magnetic field parameter, permeability parameter, Prandtl number, Eckert number, chemical reaction parameter and Soret number are studied with the help of graphs and tables.
