The study examined self-esteem, anxiety and gender as predictors of attitude towards voluntary counseling and testing of HIV/AIDS among undergraduates. The study utilizes purposive sampling technique to select 200 undergraduates. Self-esteem Scale (SS), Anxiety Scale (AS) and HIV/AIDS Voluntary Counseling and Testing Attitude Scale (HVCTS) were used for the study. The study adopted a predictive design and multiple linear regression analysis was used for data analysis. The result showed that the ages of the participants ranged from 17 to 28 years, with a mean age of 23. It equally showed that self-esteem had a mean score 24.50, anxiety had a mean score of 23.25, gender had a mean score of 14.10 and HIV/AIDS Voluntary Counseling and Testing had a mean score of 33.48. Furthermore, it showed that anxiety significantly predicted attitude of undergraduates towards voluntary counseling and testing of HIV/AIDS (t=0.030, p<.05), self-esteem significantly predicted attitude of undergraduates towards voluntary counseling and testing of HIV/AIDS (t=0.010, p<.05) but gender did not significantly predict attitude of undergraduates towards voluntary counseling and testing of HIV/AIDS (t=0.082, p<.05). The finding showed that self-esteem and anxiety significantly predicted the attitude of undergraduates towards voluntary counseling and testing of HIV/AIDS but gender of the undergraduates did not predict attitude towards voluntary counseling and testing of HIV/AIDS.
